The new Willowbend Healthcare and Rehabilitation will be located at the north end of Canal Street behind the Bayou Vista subdivision in Marion, Arkansas. The building will offer an additional 20 skilled nursing beds, a specialized wing of private rooms for short-term rehabilitation, and a large, state-of-the-art therapy room. A designated activity room will allow for enhanced signature programs and community events.

Crews broke ground on the new Willowbend in February, and finalized foundation and site work in August. They are now busy constructing the framework of the building.

November is for windows! The installation of windows is now complete, and the parking lot concrete has been poured for the new Willowbend building.

Installation of Willowbend’s sprinkler system is front and center this month, as we continue working on the electrical wiring.

Happy 2019! The new year for Willowbend brings the installation of drywall and the beginning of painting in several service rooms.

Not only does February bring the celebration of Valentine’s Day, we can celebrate the installation of flooring and painting throughout the building.

The new Willowbend’s flooring and painting is still going strong this month, in addition to the installation of light fixtures, wood molding, doors, and baseboards.

As the construction crew installed cabinets, lighting, and flooring, Willowbend staff, families, and even healthcare partners celebrated an Employee Appreciation and Sneak Peek event at the beautiful new building.

April showers do bring May flowers… and flowers we have, as planting of the final shrubbery is in the works, phone systems are being put in place, and final furniture and equipment deliveries are being made and installed. We’re in the homestretch!
